Eric Lisman serves as a senior development advisor for Informa, where he brings extensive expertise in trade and consumer exhibitions, conferences, B2B publishing, and digital media. With over 30 years in the media industry, he has honed his skills in initiating, analyzing, and executing acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
Throughout his career, Eric has held several high-level positions at major media companies. He served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Emerald Expositions, and previously, he was the CEO of ENK. He also held executive roles, including EVP and General Counsel at Advanstar, which is now part of Informa, as well as various legal positions at RELX Group. Eric has successfully completed more than 150 acquisitions and 50 divestitures, navigating some of the largest and most significant B2B media transactions both in the U.S. and internationally.
Eric began his legal career at the Boston law firm Nutter, McClennen & Fish after graduating from Harvard Law School. He remains a prominent figure in the media and events industries, continually shaping the landscape with his extensive knowledge and experience.
